On the last leg of a college tour across America, accompanied by her mother, a Chinese teenager Ziyi considers studying and living in New York, with her aunt, who seems to have a perfect life. But over a crab dinner, tensions build, and Ziyi finds herself alone, in the middle of a New York night.
